Trimble's Mobile Computing Solutions Division offers innovative products that enable mobile workers to be more efficient in extreme outdoor and industrial environments. The Juno T41, Nomad, Recon, Ranger, and Yuma rugged handheld computers help users collect accurate field data and work more productively in any outdoor or service-related application. Trimble's handheld computers meet MIL-STD-810F and -810G military specifications for drops, vibration, immersion and temperature extremes, and with IP65 to IP68 ratings, are protected against water and dust.

Yuma 2

Introduced in late 2012, the ultra rugged, full featured Yuma 2 provides state of the art technology in an environmentally protected package. The Yuma 2's rugged design incorporates a 7-inch capacitive multi-touch screen, a dual-core Intel Atom processor, a solid state hard drive, camera, integrated WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Juno T41

The Juno T41, introduced in late 2012, is a smartphone-inspired rugged handheld computer designed to be a powerful, connected, compact solution for the modern mobile workforce. The Juno T41, available with either Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld or with Android, handheld offers the convenience and ease-of-use of a smartphone with durability and long-term support that smartphones just don't offer. Ranger

The Ranger is a fully rugged handheld that offers the convenience of both a touchscreen and a full keypad, giving it unsurpassed versatility in the field. Its IP67 rating means it stands up to field conditions, and its 30-hour battery life means a user can work for several days between charges. Yuma

Ultra rugged, full featured and surprisingly lightweight, the Yuma provides state of the art technology in an environmentally sealed package. The Yuma's rugged design incorporates a 7-inch touch screen, an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor, a solid state hard drive, two digital cameras and integrated WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Nomad

The Nomad is simply the most powerful, full-featured fully rugged product available on the market today. It carries IP67 and MIL-STD-810F ratings and features an impressively fast 806 MHz processor. Recon

The Recon is the best combination of rugged performance and affordability available today. It offers the full ruggedness of IP67 and MIL-STD-810F for less than $1,000, along with a long battery life and a weight of only 17 ounces. Trimble introduced the Trimble BD920-W3G receiver and communication module. As part of Trimble's GNSS OEM portfolio, the new compact (51 mm x 41 mm x 7 mm ) module features centimeter-level, Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning capabilities coupled with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular that deliver flexible communication options for precise, mobile positioning. While rugged, reliable, powerful hardware is the bedrock of successful mobile productivity enhancement, it's clever, helpful applications that drive demand and open new markets. Trimble releases Juno T41 rugged handheld
Trimble introduced the Juno T41 handheld computer, designed to be a smartphone-inspired option for industries requiring a rugged field computer for data collection and mobile workforce management. The Juno T41 has a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 pixel capacitive multi-touch display with Gorilla Glass, GPS, IP65 or IP68 (fully waterproof) sealing, an 8MP camera with dual LED flash, up to 16GB of Flash, and a microSD card slot. Trimble introduces GreenSeeker handheld crop sensor for agriculture
Trimble introduced the GreenSeeker handheld crop sensor, a measurement device designed to assess the health of a crop. Readings can be used to make decisions regarding the amount of fertilizer to be applied to a crop. The GreenSeeker handheld will be available in mid-August 2012 starting at US$495. Trimble announced that it has acquired privately-held GEOTrac Systems of Calgary, a provider of wireless fleet management and worker safety solutions for the oil and gas industry. Trimble introduces rugged smart GNSS timing antenna
At CTIA Wireless 2012, Trimble introduced its latest generation of timing receivers, the Acutime GG smart antenna with multi-Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) capabilities. Slightly larger than a baseball and housed in a rugged, sealed enclosure, the Acutime GG provides a pulse-per-second (PPS) output synchronized to UTC within 15 nanoseconds.
